Description: OVERALL SUMMARY

HBO is hiring undergraduate students to support various groups within the Information Technology division.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work in the Internet group to support the intranet, Internet and extranet web sites.
Participate in application development projects written in Java, J2ee, Hibernate, Spring, Weblogic, Apache and Oracle. Interns may also support initiatives involving wikis, scoial networking tools and blogging.
Monitor systems and networking functions including Windows, Redhat Linux, IBM AIX, Cisco routers, switches and shell scripting.
Document department workflow.
QA testing and bug evaluation.
Focus on Organizational Effectiveness within the department.

REQUIREMENTS
Currently majoring in Computer Science (strongly preferred), Electrical Engineering or Information Systems.
Knowledge of one or more Object Oriented Programming language.
Forward thinking, leading edge, demostrated leadership qualities and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in one or more of the following: MS Visio, CGL, Perl, Scripting, HTML, Linux/Unix.
Must be enrolled in a full-time accredited college or university.
Must be an undergraduate student with sophomore or junior status.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
