Gilt Groupe is currently seeking a Photography Intern to assist the Creative Services Department with set-up, shoots and post-photo session work. The ideal candidate will work with the team two full days/week in our Brooklyn photo studio.
Responsibilities
-Help with set-up (rotate between RTW and still life
-Be an extra hand on Editorials when quick set-up is necessary
-Helping with organizational projects and maintaining cleanliness of studios
-Assist with digital tech work
Qualifications
-Current photography student
-General understanding of photo equipment and proper handling
-Experience working with Mac OS and Adobe
-Eager to learn
-Willing to help and lend a hand when needed

I want to become a photo retoucher eventually someday i love working with photoshop, and want to expand my abilities in doing so. If there is any information you can give me on how i can pursue this type of career because i am really interested in doing so. The more i look the more i like the work you produce, and i want to know more about how the photographers there do it and if i can eventually get on the level they are on to do the same.
